Good morning everyone! I cannot tell you how great it is to be back home writing on my blog!
I’ve missed it so much this weekend, it definitely proves to me how much I enjoy it.
We had a great weekend in Cornwall, lots of fun and making lovely memories.
Alfie is back at school today (booo!) – although I will miss him being at home, he definitely needs structure and routine back, without it he is such a grump!
I hope he has the most wonderful day and can charm yet another teacher with his bright personality and contagious smile!
This weekend we went to Mullion Holiday Park in Cornwall.
It’s one hell of a drive from Dorset, just over 4 hours including a pit stop.
We all had such a great time and I didn’t want to come home!
Although the weather wasn’t great – it didn’t stop us having fun and enjoying the outside, including having to run from the swimming block to the caravan still wearing my wet swimming costume – bloody freezing!
The kids (and us) absolutely loved the entertainment, it always takes me back to when I was a small child going to Chesil Beach and dancing to ‘Saturday Night’ by Whigfield, plus being engulfed in cigarette smoke!
They are one of my best memories as a kid and I hope they’re the same for Alfie and Holly too.
We stayed in a static caravan, there were 3 bedrooms, but of course the boys wanted to stay together so we improvised and pushed the two beds together.
This weekend, both nights Holly slept through!
I’m not sure whether it’s because I was producing cream over the course of two nights, or it’s probably because she was buzzing from the music and lights at 10pm!
…I guess I’ll go with number two.
I did film lots whilst there and I did plan on making a vlog.
However, due to being blessed with a rubbish, slow laptop.. You and I will be waiting quite a long time, it took overnight to upload two bits of footage! And I am a very impatient person! Give me strength.
